50% Financing at Maenam Hills

The Developer behind Maenam Hills in Koh Samui is
offering 50 per cent financing, giving buyers an entry
level investment option on the island. With two-bedroom
villas in the development starting at around Bt6 million,
it means that buyers can secure a villa for a modest
outlay.
The project has been recommended by David Stanley Redfern
Ltd, a U.K. based, overseas property investment
specialist, which provides research and due diligence for
buyers.
Liam Bailey, Head of International Research for David
Stanley Redfern Ltd said “When you consider that people
who bought in Koh Samui two years ago sold their property
recently for twice what they paid for it, it makes Maenam
Hills one of the best property investment opportunities on
the global market”
Apart from the potential for good capital growth, buyers
will be able to enjoy a guaranteed uncapped rental yield
of at least six per cent per year for the first two years.
"Tourism to Thailand is increasing by 20 per cent per
year, and Thailand´s islands like Koh Samui are attracting
the largest proportion of the visitors. That is why
high-end resort property on said islands has become a big
hit on the property investment front.” Bailey added.
The developers are confident of strong returns as they
have aligned themselves with some of the islands leading
letting companies. With a healthy tourism market expected,
the villas are likely to be in demand.
“The extra selling point for an investment in Thailand,
and other Asian countries seeing massive growth fuelled by
tourism, is the fact that most of the tourism is regional
-- on the back of dirt cheap inter-connecting flights.
This means that even if global markets continue to slow,
and people stop going abroad, the money-making potential
of Thailand properties will not be diminished." Bailey
commented.
Maenam Hills is located close to both Koh Samui’s Maenam
Beach and the Santiburi Golf and County Club, and is
within walking distance to nearby Maenam village. The
development consists of ten two-bedroom villas set in
tropical gardens and offers full resort facilities to
owners and guests including a swimming pool. Each villa
sports a usable area of 130m2, and features a fully fitted
European style kitchen and outdoor terracing.
